Grambling Global Academy is a major new initiative to help adults finish their bachelor’s degree through access to low-cost, online courses no matter where they reside. The Academy caters to three separate student populations:
Pre-enrollment - students referred to complete developmental courses based on a low GPA, or low test scores FOR CREDIT
Active - students typically referred by a school advisor to complete general education courses
At Risk - students who started a program at some point but then stopped out for a variety of reasons. This program allows previous Stop Outs to complete their General Studies degree 100% online. Stop Outs who would like to complete a General Studies degree can select from these (4) concentrations and minors:
Humanities and Culture
Race and Gender
Juvenile Behavioral Studies
Gerontology
Students are required to select a minor. There are four (4) online options to choose from:
Psychology (available to complete within a year with online courses)
Sociology (available to complete within a year with online courses)
History (available to complete within a year with online courses)
Child Development - 100% online
There are 3 pathways for students to choose from:
Developmental Courses (Pre-enrollment)
General Education courses (Active)
General Studies courses (At Risk)
