Tutoring

StraighterLine courses include free tutoring. Through our partnership with tutor.com, we are able to offer our students lots of helpful support features, including experienced subject-matter experts in a variety of academic disciplines to provide you with personalized, on-demand help.

On-demand tutoring is available 24/7. So if a student is struggling with an algebra formula at 3 a.m., they can access tutoring services.

Tutoring options:

• Writing Center - students can submit a paragraph, essay draft or paper for review and revision guidance by an expert writing tutor

• Scheduled tutoring - an in-depth, one-on-one feedback from a subject matter expert which can be scheduled at a convenient time for a live session

• Drop-in tutoring - chat with a live tutor for immediate assistance

• Offline questions - sending a question to receive feedback at a time that is more convenient (not immediate)

There's an app! Students can download a convenient app on their phone for quick and easy access to tutoring from anywhere.
