Purpose & Description:

Academy is a low cost, low risk approach for students to take courses and make progress towards their degree before they fully enroll with the school. CCD Academy is a separate entity than CCD, but one that’s integrated with the college. CCD Academy is not a college or university, courses from the program are fully transferable into CCD.

CCD Academy is to be a BRIDGEBACK program for “Melts” and “Stop Outs”

• • Melts = students who enrolled for a first term with CCD but never made it to class (or past the add/drop date)

  • Stop Outs = students who have been enrolled but have had to, for a variety of reasons, stop out. Note that stopped out students can be considered both active and inactive based on how many consecutive terms they have not been enrolled (this will not impact messaging)

Cost: Flat fee - $150/monthly
