Abstract:
The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of designing the professional activities of social workers in the process of working with different categories of the population. The relevance of the study is due to the growth of social challenges in modern society, which requires increasing the effectiveness of social work and improving the professional training of social workers. In this context, the ability of social workers to design their own professional activities, which involves purposeful planning, forecasting and organizing social assistance in accordance with the needs of various social groups, is of particular importance.
It is substantiated that designing professional activities is an important component of the professional competence of a social worker, as it ensures the systematicity, consistency and effectiveness of social work. The main stages of designing professional activities are outlined, including diagnostic, prognostic, planning, implementation and reflective and evaluation. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of social work largely depends on the ability of social workers to analyze the social problems of clients, determine the optimal ways to solve them and predict the results of professional activities.
The peculiarities of organizing social work with different categories of the population, in particular children and youth, families in difficult life circumstances, the elderly, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons and other vulnerable social groups, are analyzed. The need for an individual approach, interdisciplinary interaction and the use of modern social technologies in the process of designing professional activities is emphasized. It is concluded that the systematic design of professional activities of social sphere specialists contributes to improving the quality of social services, effective solution of social problems and provision of social support for different categories of the population.
