Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the essence of the concept of «organizational and managerial competence of a future primary school teacher» and to identify its main components. In the context of higher education reform and alignment with European standards, where a key role in social development is played by a specialist capable of promptly making informed decisions and generating new ideas, a high level of organizational and managerial competence becomes essential for professional growth and successful pedagogical activity, which determines the particular relevance of this issue.
General scientific methods were applied: analysis and synthesis – to assess the state of scientific development of the problem and to identify promising directions for further study; comparative analysis of educational programs for training future primary school teachers; pedagogical observation – in order to develop the structure of organizational and managerial competence; systematization and generalization – for the comprehension and interpretation of the results obtained and the generalization of the experience of training future teachers in higher education institutions.
Scientific novelty lies in refining the content of the concept of «organizational and managerial competence» of a future primary school teacher, as well as in defining and substantiating its structure, which covers the following components: cognitive, activity-based, operationaltechnological, personal, value-motivational, and reflexive.
The formation of organizational and managerial competence in future primary school teachers involves mastering strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and idea generation skills, as well as developing leadership and business qualities, managerial culture, stress resistance, and communication skills. This will allow for the preparation of specialists capable of effectively planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the educational process, creating a favorable, safe, and developing environment for primary school students, while actively supporting their own professional development and interacting with colleagues in professional communities.
Keywords: organizational and managerial competence, pre-service primary school teachers, educational process, social and ethical responsibility.
