Abstract:

The article examines choreography in the context of Ukrainian performance as a complex and multidimensional phenomenon. The emphasis is on the transformations of choreographic language in the context of interdisciplinarity, where dance goes beyond the traditional stage form and is integrated into the space of performative practices. Special attention is paid to the problem of corporeality as a key category of contemporary art, through which communication between the erformer and the viewer is built, and a new artistic sensuality is formed.

The dynamics of artistic processes in Ukrainian performance are considered, the role of choreography as a means of artistic expression that combines movement, space, sound and visual elements into a single performative structure is analyzed.

The research methodology is based on a combination of theoretical and empirical approaches. An analytical-synthetic method was used to process scientific sources, a historical-cultural approach to consider the evolution of choreography in Ukraine, as well as a comparative method to analyze national and world performative experience. The empirical basis is formed by observations of contemporary performances, analysis of video materials of artistic projects.

As a result of the study, key trends in the development of Ukrainian choreography in performative art were identified, in particular, expanding the boundaries of dance practice, strengthening the role of corporeality, integration of modern media and the growth of the social dimension of artistic expressions.
