Abstract:
The education system of Ukraine in conditions of martial law is experiencing significant challenges related to adaptation to unstable learning conditions, the need to maintain the quality of the educational process, and psychological stress. Nowadays, the entire education system has been significantly affected by martial law in Ukraine, creating new requirements for all participants in the educational process. This is especially true for higher education applicants, future primary school teachers, and early childhood educators, who may face psychological stress, instability of the educational process, and the need to quickly adapt to changes.
In these conditions, primary school teachers and early childhood educators play a key role not only as carriers of knowledge, but also as mentors who will help children adapt to modern realities and develop stress resistance. With a comprehensive approach, it is possible to increase the adaptability of education applicants and stress resistance. It includes: the development of selfregulation skills and the provision of psychological support; flexible organization of psychological and pedagogical professional training, which allows compensating for losses in knowledge and forced breaks; the creation of alternative opportunities, including digital simulations, for practical training of pedagogical specialists, remote practical tasks and online laboratories; active involvement of teachers in the formation of a positive educational environment, in order to reduce the level of anxiety and increase the motivation of education seekers.
The professional skills of future primary school teachers and educators of Preschool education institutionsare directly influenced by the level of psychological stability of the teacher. Modern challenges faced by teachers that affect their psychological stability are considered. It is proven that the formation of a safe educational environment in conditions of martial law for future primary school teachers and educators of Preschool education institutionsis one of the defining conceptual principles of the functioning of the modern education system.
The role of pedagogical supervision in today’s higher education is shown, as professional support for students and teachers of primary school and educators of special education through the mentoring system, which will be the focus of our further research.
Keywords: future teachers of primary school and educators of special education, psychological and pedagogical training, conditions of social instability.
