Audit & Expired Holds
The goal of this task is to make sure the hold shelf contains all of the right books (reword this)

Acquire a printed audit spreadsheet from staff for AFN items
Spreadsheet should be organized by patron last name
Check the expiry date on strapped items, placing them with the borrowing returns if they are past the stamp date.
Also check to make sure the strap title matches the book title
Work your way book by book through the holdshelf, matching each item to its corresponding row on the spreadsheet
Items on the holdshelf but missing from the spreadsheet should be listed on audit and turned into staff member to follow up
Items on the spreadsheet but not the holdshelf should be noted on the printout
Give completed spreadsheet to a staff member
*This process is not required for VDX*
Check all VDX items on the hold shelf
If the book is in the Expired Hold Shelf list, pull from the shelf
Staff will pull media, microform, and library use only items
These are treated the same as books as far as pulling from expiry
Should be pulled on same day as local due date
If a book is on the shelf but unaccounted for, let a staff member know
Place expired holds on the borrowing returns cart
