Course Description

In Psychology AP, students explore the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Students will examine the concepts of psychology through reading and discussion and you’ll analyze data from psychological research studies.

Since the coursework in an AP course is more rigorous, this course is graded on a 10 point scale and students will receive 5 quality points for completion.

AP Exam

The AP Psychology Exam will test your understanding of the psychological concepts covered in the course units, as well as your ability to analyze behavioral studies.

Exam Duration- 2hrs

Scoring a 3 or higher on the AP exam may earn students college credit. Credit amounts will vary by university.
