Add a Business File, whether for a Lead or Client.
There are two ways to add your Business Clients into the CRM. Whichever you choose directs to the same landing page content.
Option 1: Go to either Lead or Client tab, whichever is applicable. On the dropdown on either, select 'Add New Business File'.
Option 2: Within the Lead/Client file, you click on the '+' under Business. This will then open a new tab with the same contents as the first option.
Business: Required Fields are highlighted: Business File Name, Adviser Name, Services you offer & Primary Contact
Primary Contact let you search the Client name and link the client to the Business File.
Once the Business details are saved, the Services tab will then be available.
You can add Directors, Shareholders and 'Other' to a business by selecting the section you'd like to link a contact to and clicking the pencil to edit.
Whether a Director, Shareholder or 'Other' is selected, you will be able to search the name of your applicable business contact.
Once an individual is linked to a business, you will be able to find that business sitting in their Personal File also (refer to the picture to the right).
This will display basic information relating to the Business that can be edited (editing re-routes you through to the Business File) and all notes from the Business File will be connected also for as a summary.
If the individual is not in the CRM when you try to link them to a Business File, you have the option to 'Quick Add'
This allows you to add basic information into the CRM to link the contact (without having to navigate away from the Business File).
Once the new client has been loaded into the system, you should then be able to search them using the 'Global Search' bar or click the silhouette to add more information and get the file up to date.
Please note that all the Services, Notes & Documents are the same as Lead, Client & Service Overview.
