Temperatures were high, at least for Summit runners used to snow, especially for the Friday afternoon 3200 and Saturday mid-day 1600s. Despite that:

Josh's great 3200 and 1600 lock up State Championship qualifying times. His out of state times at Arcadia don't count to State Qualifying. The top 18 times in 4A - plus more if anyone in the top 18 doesn't declare - qualify for State.
Jay's great 800 and new personal record are close to a State time, but probably will be 1 to 2 seconds short.
Ella is now ranked in the top 4 in the 800, 1600 and 3200.
The boys 4x800 time at Liberty Bell should hold for the State championship, but we will be ready to race again at Teddy's Last Chance if necessary, and may race again for practice and state prep even if not necessary.
The girls have a strong chance at qualifying the 4x800. We will literally wait until the Last Chance on Saturday, to give girls the opportunity to race fresh 1600s late Friday night at St. Vrain.
(Friday and Saturday plans could change based on the weather, but as of now, conditions look good both days.)
Updated Girls and Boys Top Times Lists
Updated School Records and State Qualification
Intra-Team Competition
While there were several new PRs in the 1600, including two and possibly three state qualifying times, no new Summit runners joined the Miler's Club as all those runners already qualified this year. Friday night in St. Vrain, but also Kremmling and Teddy's Last chance are excellent opportunities, and this year's last chance, to enter the Miler's Club record books.
