pure contour

The story behind my drawing is we had to take a shoe and make a pure contour drawing out of it. I chose my shoe because I think my shoes loom cool and I wanted to draw them. The project relates to my life because I chose to draw my shoe and it's my shoe that is drawn.

The materials used were a pencil and paper

I used the pure contour process to make my drawing and I drew what I saw when I looked at my shoe. My project evolved from a piece of paper to a outline, to a completed pure contour drawing. The next steps could be to expand the drawing and add color but that wasn't part of the assignment. I could also outline the pencil with sharpie.
