gelli prints

the story is that we took leaves and made prints of them, 3 prints of the same leaf pattern. then we chose one to extend. i drew pumpkins and leaves because i was feeling in the fall spirit and still am. fall might be my favorite season. it relates to my life because on the extended drawing i chose to draw pumpkins and leaves because i was feeling in the fall spirit.

this was made using paper, pencil, green paint, leaves, gelatin, orange colored pencil, and orange colored pencil.

the process i went through was pick some leaves, then cover the gelatin with paint, then i put the leaves on, then i put a piece of paper over the leaves and pressed down so the paint transferred onto the paper. then i took the leaves off, got a different piece of paper, and pressed down again. then i got another piece of paper and pressed down again. i then chose the first print to extend. i started by drawing the background, the the pumpkins and the leaves, and then i colored.

my project evolved from a piece of paper, to a print, to an extended print fully colored. my next steps could maybe be to outline the leaves but i think it's fine.
