extended blind contour

I had no idea what my blind contour drawing could look like, but then i flipped it the way you see it now and i thought, hey that kinda looks like it could be a mountain, and it went from there.

I made the choice because it looks like a mountain, it doesn't relate to my life at all.

the materials i used were paper, pencil, yellow colored pencil, blue colored pencil, four different types of green colored pencils, grey colored pencil, black colored pencil, beige colored pencil and three different brown markers.

i started with sketching everything, then coloring it, and the coloring went from the sky and sun rays, to the green of the trees, to the different shades of grey in the mountain, to the person on the mountain, to the different shades of brown on the tree trunks.

my project evolved from a blind contour, to a sketched drawing, to a colored, finished drawing.

my next steps could be outlining the rest of the mountain in black sharpie so it looks better, and then i could outline everything else in thin black sharpie but i don't want to because i don't think that will look as good.
