slab pot set

for this project I had to create a set of 4 pots, with a way to tell that they were a set. i first made each pot and handle using the slab roller. the handles were shaped and let to dry a bit while i made the rest of the pot. i used a tennis ball container as a support for the slab, and then slip and scored it together and to the base. i also elected to get rid of the overlap as i personally didn't like how it looked and preferred a flush look. i was originally going to do another design, but with time slimming i decided to go for a more simple, but still cool design. i went for a more abstract design, as i created shapes across the pots as i went along with a pencil. after the second pot i decided i didn't really like the idea of doing squarish shapes for all of the pots, so i went for a similar, but different design on the last 2 pots as the shapes changed from squarish to triangular or slanted. i think this was a good idea and spiced up the set a bit while still being able to tell that it was a set. i used three different glazes for each pot, with the idea in mind of there being a main color for the bigger shapes, and secondary and tertiary colors for the smaller ones, which i think came out well. i also made sure that the colors went well with each other and i think they do. i think the finished project came out very well and i like how the look, the only thing i wish is that there were more glazes with different colors so that i could really get the color combinations i wanted, but i think the colors still went with each other well.
