For this project, I took portraits and edited them in photoshop so only select colors showed through and the rest was black and white. This was the first project we did other than the tutorial on photoshop. I tried to stick to a theme of only leaving in beiges and browns in my photos. By allowing certain pieces in the background to have color and nothing else, it makes portions pop out that would otherwise have blended in and have been glazed over. Black and white photos always add more contrast to the picture. My favorite piece is the one of Gabe Silva, I like how his mustache is able to stand out.
