Charcoal drawing

For my charcoal drawing the ideas evident in my work is that we were able to choose any picture we wanted and we blew it up on a bigger piece of paper and drew it with charcoal.This project relates to my life because I drew a picture of me and my friend.

The materials I used to make this project was black and white charcoal pencils, a tortillon, ink, square sticks of black and white charcoal, an eraser, and a shammy.

To create my work of art I used simple math the figure out how to grid my paper to blow up my picture. Then I used charcoal and other materials to drew my picture square by square. My project evolved by first using charcoal pastels then going over the very dark places with ink. My next step could be to blend the lines together more so u can’t notice the squares.
