Doodle for Google

For my Doodle for Google drawing the ideas evident in my work is that we entered a contest where we have to redesign the Google logo into something that relates to kindness. I chose to do a picture of someone watering their neighbor’s plants. This project relates to my life because watering plants shows that you care about something that is important to someone else, showing selflessness and kindness.

The materials I used to make this project were colored pencils and a pencil.

To create my work of art I first sketched out the flowers and plants in pencil then I colored over it with colored pencils. My project evolved by redrawing the plants many times to make them look accurate and clean. My next step could be to add more detail to the plants or to add a different material such as oil pastels.
