Multiple Exposure Portraits

For this assignment, I used photoshop to merge portraits and beautiful scenery to create a silhouetted portrait. I made the portraits black and white, used the quick select tool to take out the background, layered the black and white portrait with the scenery, and then added a white background to make everything pop out. The first photo is a close-up of my brother eating an apple with the fall leaves faded behind him. I really liked this photo because both of the images I merged had the theme of fall. The second picture is of my cat merged with the sunset, very majestic. One thing I learned was that when adding a solid color background it needed to be a true white as my first photo has some of the leaves popping through because I used a light grey.
