Donate Life Design

For my donate life design project the ideas evident in my work is that we had to create a design or poster that represents organ and tissue donation. This all started because we wanted to create awareness of what organ and tissue donation is, as not many people know what it is. This project relates to my life because it shows how you can bring “color” or “brightness” to someone’s life due to becoming an organ donor. It shows how you can change someone’s life just by making one small decision.

The materials I used to make this project were old newspapers, glue, and construction paper.

To create my work of art I first cut colorful patterns out of old newspapers then created a college for the sky, helping represent my slogan. My project evolved by first trying to glue the old newspapers on the piece of paper randomly, with no pattern. After realizing that it didn’t work, I created strips from the newspapers and made that as the sky. My next step could be to add more design to the buildings instead of just leaving git as a silhouette.
