Duck Stamp

For my duck stamp drawing the ideas evident in my work is that we had to make a duck that we would then later submit into a contest to be judged. This project relates to my life because this duck has many colors which symbolize the brightness and colorfulness of nature.

The materials I used to make this project were an HB pencil, a ruler and oil pastels.

To create my work of art I drew squares to help me outline the duck then fulled it in with oil pastels. My project evolved by having to re-do the colors many times to get the perfect match. My next step could be to enhance the background by adding something other than water.
