Artist Statement 

The main idea within my artwork is a elephant & pig playing ping pong obviously but I also tried to create details & objects within the art like the flooring, lamp, & picture on the well to resemble a sort of living room, or like a playroom. 

The only material I used for this piece was an HB pencil. I didnt add color because I didnt have time but even if I did I think it looks good with no color because of the shading I was able to do with just a pencil. 

The first step in my process of making this piece was looking up a cartoon elephant, I found one I liked that was at a close enough angle to help me visualize how I would draw mine. I thought I had found the right image of a ping pong table as well but a mistake i made was drawing the ping pong table first in the middle of the page, which didn't end up working out I had to find a new image & restarted my whole table. Then finally I drew a line going behind the elephant to make my wooden floors, placed my lamp, & lastly added a small framed picture on the wall.
