Artist statement 

The main idea that guided my work was my collage that was made of a car & landscapes while also having words but I ended up not including those. I put these in my collage because theyre not very complicated & I like all the things included especially the mountains which continue you appear in my art. 

The materials I used for the collage was just cut paper on paper & for the painting I used canvas & acrylic paint. 

The first thing I did with this piece was the basic shapes with solid colors, mixing paint to make a reletivley close shade to the collage I painted those parts. The second thing I did was the base layer of the car which was the red, then I outlined it in black & layered the gray over the red. The final thing I did was the gray road & the simple rose.
