WaterBottle Sketch
Graphite Pencil on Paper
12"x9"
The main idea that inspired one of my drawings was the prompt still-life. We had to draw any item that was in front of us. I chose my water bottle because it was simple, and I could draw a somewhat accurate representation. With this sketch, I just wanted to draw a sketch version of a water bottle. I wanted it to be realistic, and I wanted it to have dimension.
This artwork was made out of standard paper, and graphite pencil. I did use different shades ranging in the HB's to 6B's.
The artwork process was quite simple. I chose my object and started an outline. I then start shading the main part of the water bottle. Afterward, I moved on to the cap and the rope which you hold. Lastly, I made sure it was smoothly blended and added the ground marks.
