For this art project we were instructed to take our three views of a shoe project and choose one of the three views and expanded it. I chose the side view drawing to expand. I zoomed this drawing three times with a view finder. Then, I chose my favorite of the three, and chose one to create an abstract piece. Then I enlarge the zoomed image onto watercolor paper in black sharpie. When I looked at my drawing, I immediately saw a sunset from it. From here, I used pigment water color, and water color pencils for my materials. I blended colors to make my drawing more representational, like a sunset, instead of something abstract. This project I really focused on the colors in my sunset and the way they were blended together, or even textures I used in the sky. The hardest part of this drawing was in the begging when I had to enlarge one of my zoomed in views. This was hard for me because I struggle with proportion in my artwork. To solve this problem, I just practiced drawing what I saw and to only draw what I saw and not from memory. Overall I am happy with the way my artwork turned out because I really liked my color schemes and what I created from my zoomed in show drawing.
