This is our last week of school!
Monday, June 2nd - Yearbook signing - Assembly Schedule
Tuesday, June 3rd - Last day for locker clean out and Chromebook inventory
Wednesday, June 4th - Last Day of School - Dismissal at 12:30
Please complete the survey if you plan on attending the end of year party at Mrs. Wolf's. Party starts at 4:00.
Please see the guidance from John about our chromebook inventory and the Windows update taking place over summer.
If you are interested in the ELA Dept Head Position, please let me know by the end of the day, Monday, June 2nd.
Congratulations to Isabelle Mullikin who has accepted our grade 6 position for science/social studies
Thanks to Tatyana Rodriguez who has submitted her resignation. We appreciate your service and good luck at your next school!
IT will be re-imaging and updating all computers over the summer. Before you leave for the summer, please make sure anything you have saved on the C drive is moved to another drive or backed up. Anything on the C drive will be erased. John can help you with that if you want.
We will not be collecting them and transferring them like was done last year. Please leave Chromebooks docked and unplugged in your classrooms. Chromebooks will be distributed at the beginning of next school year.
Grades and Teams - Please share a time with John that you want him to assist with the Chromebook inventory.
Grade 8 - Please make sure students remove any stickers.
Mrs. Mullikin has been offered one of the positions in grade 6. She has accepted! This is all pending board approval.
Mike Renzelman will be Isabelle's mentors
2nd round of interviews took place on Friday, May 30th. Currently referencing candidates. There is a possibility for a 3rd round of interviews.
I will ask Mandy Packwood to act as the mentor to this new hire.
Mrs. Rodriguez has resigned her position in grade 7. We wish her well in her next posting.
For this position, there will be a communication from HR requesting interests for internal transfer. If no interest, we will work to hire an external candidate.
Mr. Collinsworth has accepted the position. We look forward to welcoming him to our team.
I will ask Katy and Kinsey to act as mentors for these new sped teachers.
Now that there are 2 different positions to review for special education we look to make the best fist according to the new hires expertise.
We now have a couple applicants in the pool for the position. We will work to hire and onboard before the start of the new academic year.
Tyler Widman has accepted a position at Centennial as a day-time custodian. Please extend your congratulations to Tyler when you see him. We will work to fill Tyler's position during the summer.
As Mrs. Beckman is retiring this year, JMS needs a new ELA Dept Head. If you are interested in this position, please let me know ASAP (end of day Monday, June 2). Thank you!
Thank you Justin for getting next year's calendar of activities started! Have a look at what we have planned for next year so far!
Attached is a list of work orders that have been submitted along with what we know teachers have requested for refurbishing in classrooms. If you need something completed over the summer, make sure you email me and Brandee before the end of the school year.
Thank you to Mrs. Wolf for hosting our end of year staff party again. It's great that this location is out in Cougar Ridge which means this party is unlikely to get busted by the po-po! Try to keep this party on the down-low so Officer Kent doesn't send his buddies to bust us!
Seriously, this will make for a great way for us to celebrate the conclusion of the year. Hope to see you all there!
This form needs to be submitted to me on the last day of school before you leave for summer. I will initial my sections when the rest of the form is complete.
