I will work in quarter 2 to attend additional team meetings and support our PLC progress.
Please sign up for your evaluation by the end of the day of October 30th, if you have not already done so.
Please see guidance for evaluations as well as your assigned evaluator. Along with your assigned evaluator you can also see where you are in the cycle of evaluations (Formal/Informal). If you think this is incorrect, please contact me ASAP. You may have received an update from Edfolio with your assigned evaluator.
To those teachers assigned to me as an evaluator for formal/informal evaluations, please schedule a time for me to observe you by the end of Monday. All observations must be completed by December 8th.
If you are on formal evaluation cycle, please schedule a pre and post meeting for your observation.

The following lessons need to be used during advisory to support the distribution of Chromebooks with students.

"A well oiled machine" That was how conferences were described to me and they certainly felt like that during these past two days.
It was great to see so many families visit JMS for our student-led conferences. We're looking at close to 95% of our families signed up for conferences and according to teams, we are near 100% attendance with some families attending without prior signup. There have been 100+ parent survey submissions as well. A summary of results will be shared on Monday, but at first glance, the feedback is VERY positive.
Thank you to all the teachers for all your efforts to make conferences a success!
Thank you Amanda and Brandee for preparing the soup for dinner on Wednesday and Thanks to Mrs. Kathleen Porter and our Parent Volunteer Group for providing the sandwiches. It would be greatly appreciated if we would share or extend our thanks to Kathleen by writing her a quick note of thanks either through email or the card that we will have in the office to be signed by staff. You can reach Kathleen at kros0831@hotmail.com.
There were several meetings recently with external support groups to develop some creative solutions for dealing with some of our more challenging student behaviors. I want to thank Ms. McCall for initiating these conversations and working to find resources to support us in finding successful solutions for students.
We recently met with Diana Morgan from SESTA who will visit our school on Tuesday, October 10th from 9:00-1:30 and do some classroom visits. Please welcome her on Tuesday.
We also met with Cindy Harris-Lindauer from Children's Mental Health and Zoe Remsburg from Idaho Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The hope is that these meetings and planning sessions materialize into a systems shift in supporting students.
