Our collective obsession with losing weight to look good is making us feel bad! Weight loss can even make us less healthy, as our desire to be skinny actually shrinks away some of our most important parts...muscles! Attending this course will prove to you that fitter is always better, even if you're not skinnier. It will provide you with effective, but realistic strategies to get fitter and feel better. We'll even tour campus and the recreation center to learn about the resources available to you (for free!) and how to use them (including weight room and fitness equipment).
Please wear/bring comfortable shoes for walking and clothes that allow free movement.
