Learn the ins and outs of cooking ice cream as Taylor Kidd (a knowledgeable expert in eating and cooking frozen desserts) takes you from “Cow to Cone” in this first annual free school ice cream short course.
Participants will learn about ice cream technology including flavoring, refrigeration, freezing and hardening techniques, and will feature lessons on custard, sorbet, gelato, granita, froyo, sherbet, and Philadelphia style ice creams (dairy and non-dairy diets accommodated).
And ... the course will conclude with an ice cream social for participants and their invited guests.
