We'll explore the free sources of 3D objects' ready-to-print files and there are lots and lots of them ranging from pencil/pen holders to cool geometric objects to phone stands to flowers to... We'll cover how to do modifications of the object you choose, prepare to print your object and then print!
Southwestern has a Form 2 liquid resin printer that is fantastic, easy to use and is open to anyone in the SU community. And, as an added benefit of this class, you will also receive "certification" to use the 3D Form 2 printer on your own!
You are welcome to bring your laptop with you to class - a Chromebook or tablet will not work. If you choose to do that, please download and install prior to our first class the PreForm application which is free and available at:
We will also be using Chrome browser and if that is not already on your laptop, please install that as well.
