Course Report: The Story of Coffee and Sustainable Consumption
In the “Story of Coffee” course, students explored the journey of coffee beans from farm to cup, understanding the supply chain and the importance of fair trade. 在「咖啡的故事」課程中,學生透過追溯咖啡豆從產地到杯子的歷程,了解咖啡產業的供應鏈及其背後的公平貿易意義。課程深入探討公平貿易如何保障咖啡農民的權益,同時平衡市場需求與環境永續發展。學生進行案例分析與討論,認識消費行為對全球供應鏈的影響,並以實際行動撰寫了永續消費宣言。這堂課不僅提升了學生的環保意識,也培養了他們成為具國際視野的負責任消費者。
課程主題: The Acid-base indicator and density of coffee story
課程時間:八年級上學期
課程內容:
The children learned to test drinks with natural acid-base indicator.
They tried lemon juicy, coffee and soy bean milk etc.
The final task: students will be able to make a colorful drink using the knowledge of liquid specific density.

1.利用天然的酸鹼指示劑「蝶豆花」,先讓同學們做個測試!加入檸檬汁會呈現甚麼顏色呢? 加入小蘇打水溶液又會呈現甚麼顏色呢?
2.我們的課程主角,咖啡(咖啡因+綠原酸水溶液)加入蝶豆花當中又會讓蝶豆花汁液改變成甚麼顏色呢?藉此可以得知咖啡的酸鹼性!!
3.不同的水溶液其顏色、密度各不相同,因此可以做成漂亮的分層分色的飲品喔!!藉由試誤操作排列組合,測試出最佳解,先將密度大的水溶液放入下層,再緩慢的倒入密度小的。在此也要運用小技巧,將溶液靠著攪拌棒利用附著力流入杯中才不會溢出喔!
