Motion Tweening

Motion-tweening is a digital animation technique that creates smooth transitions by automatically generating the frames between two key positions. Instead of animating every single frame manually, the animator sets a starting point and an ending point, and the software calculates the movement between them. This technique is commonly used in programmes like Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) for animating characters, shapes, and text in 2D motion graphics.

Set-Up Requirements:To create a motion-tween animation, follow these basic steps:

Select your character or object
Position it in the first frame
Choose the number of frames
Set the duration or final frame
Apply the tween/path
Adjust the frame rate (FPS) to adjust quality or determine the movement of the graphic along the timeline (keyframes)
