GUD, opprettet en evig pakt med Abraham og hans ektefødte søn Isak,hans kone Sarah og deres videre avkom(Jødene), og GUD lovet dem landet Israel for evig tid.

Mange steder i Bibelens Gamle Testamentet(Toraen) forteller GUD om at Messias(Jesus Kristus) skulle komme. Da Jesus kom fikk vi det Nye Testamentet(Gospelet).

Jesus var Jøde og ble født i Israel, døde på krossen i Israel og sto opp igjen fra de døde i Israel.

Første Mosebok 12:3;

"Jeg vil velsigne dem som velsigner deg(Israel),men den som forbanner deg, skal jeg forbanne.I deg(Israel) skal alle slekter på jorden velsignes.»

GUD skapte nasjonen Israel særskilt fordi hans enborne søn Jesus skulle fødes der og fordi han vil komme tilbake og opprette sitt rike der.

Jesus som er GUD's enborne søn var selv Jøde og vokste opp i Israel. Dette er også grunnen til at GUD(Jesus) valgte Israel
