C H Waddington Centennial Lectures and Reception
There will be a free public lecture and reception on Monday the 12th of September, celebrating the life and work of Conrad Hal Waddington (1905-1975).
Waddington was Buchanan Professor of Genetics at the University of Edinburgh.
The event will take place in the Michael Swann Building, King's Buildings.
- 4.00pm - lecture by Professor Grahame Bulfield entitled "CH Waddington - his life in Science, Art and Society"
- 4.45pm - lecture by Professor Jonathan Bard entitled "CH Waddington - his impact on Developmental Biology"
- 6.00pm - public reception in the Swann Foyer
