12. Forest Maze
First Screen
Grab the KeroKeroCola from the hidden chest on the very left corner of the screen, then keep going.
Second Screen
Run northwest and go down the stump as soon as the wiggler is out of the way.
Head east avoiding the enemies and use the spring to get up above ground to the next screen.
Third Screen
Grab the frog coin from the hidden chest directly to the left in the corner when you exit the stump.
Avoid the bee and proceed to the next screen.
Fourth Screen
Run past the line of six stumps with wigglers coming out of them to the very last stump on its own and go down it.
In the underground area, run above the sleeping wiggler to get behind it and get the KeroKeroCola from the hidden chest.
Hit the sleeping wiggler to get launched back up to the surface, and go through the newly opened path directly ahead.
Fifth Screen
Go down the stump and head to the right in the underground section.
In the second underground section, take the top route and hit the spring to get back to the surface.
Sixth Screen
Get the Red Essence from the hidden chest in the very right corner before the maze.
Safety save on the save block here if needed!
The Maze
Follow Geno wherever he goes and avoid the monsters.
There is one screen where Geno is not there. On this one, the correct path is bottom right.
Each screen you enter, the amount of monsters in that screen is RNG. If you're lucky, you will have little to no monsters to avoid.
If your screen is packed full with monsters, and you have a few encounters, you can die. RIP RUN to the bees. Try getting good at platforming this maze.
Bowyer
Geno Attack, Mario Jump, Mallow use Energizer on Geno.
*Bowyer drops the buttons*
Geno Attack, Mario Jump, Mallow Attack.
*The A button gets locked, so no more Attack*
Geno use Geno Beam, Mario use Pick Me Up/Froggie Drink if needed, Mallow use Honey Syrup/Pick Me Up (if revived by Mario then defend).
Geno use Geno Beam, have one character use a Froggie Drink, the other use Honey Syrup.
*The X button gets locked, so no more items can be used*
Geno use Geno Beam, Mario use healing item if needed or defend, Mallow use healing item if needed or defend.
Repeat this procedure for the remaining turns until Bowyer is dead.
Always use a Froggie Drink after Static E.
A properly timed Geno Beam should do 90 damage to Bowyer with the Energizer. If you didn’t time your Geno Beams or attacks correctly and you run out of FP to use Geno Beam, have Geno use normal attacks to get through the rest of the battle (1-3 additional attacks probably).
If you freebie the Energizer, have Mallow use it on Geno in the next Croco fight.
Mario reaches level 4 - ATK
After the cutscene, exit to the top left and head to Moleville.
