Percy Smith [dob:1881]

Percy was born on 26 December 1881 at Hawthor [Melbourne] Victoria & was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne. Station experience in Queensland for three years. Two years on staff of Colonial Bank, Melbourne. Farming until 1916, when enlisted with 3rd Pioneer Battalion and served for duration of war. Took up repatriation land on return. Percy died at Culcairn on 22 May 1965, and married Margaret Gladys Dewar, who died 14 February 1956.[1]
