EPA Community Interviews - Summer 2026 (concluded 9/1/2026)

In March 2026, EPA added the Gelman Sciences, Inc. site to the Superfund National Priorities List due to 1,4-dioxane groundwater contamination. 

During the summer of 2026, EPA is holding one-on-one listening sessions to learn how residents want to be informed and engaged, identify information and resource gaps, and educate the community about EPA, the site, and the Superfund program. 

Meetings will be held at several locations throughout the community, with details available below and in this flyer.

•  July 8-10, 2026 - Ann Arbor District Library, Westgate Branch, 2503 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor

• July 27-29, 2026 - Skyline High School Library, 2552 N Maple Rd, Ann Arbor

• August 17-19, 2026 - Scio Township Hall, 827 N Zeeb Rd, Ann Arbor
