Piano Duo Recital by Kent Fu and
Stephen Hung

音樂會簡介

給雙鋼琴彈奏的音樂，可以追溯至不同的源頭，其中包括有文藝復興時期在威尼斯聖馬可大教堂盛行的雙合唱團音樂、在巴洛克時期同樣是威尼斯所流行的「大協奏曲」、以至古典時期的鋼琴協奏曲等；它們的共通點是透過兩個組獨立的個體製造一些對答或相抗的場景從而擦出火花。這次音樂會所選的曲目除了涵蓋上述的三種傳統之外，亦會透過當代作曲家李一葦的新作給我們重新演繹雙鋼琴音樂的定位。

曲目包括：巴哈– 清唱劇 BWV 25（第一樂章），兩首雙鍵盤協奏曲 BWV 1061, 1062

莫札特/布梭尼– 二重奏協奏曲 （K.459），梅德納– 兩首小品，作品58

蕭邦– 迴旋曲，作品73，李一葦– 變（世界首演）

Programme Introduction

The concept of music for two pianos can be traced to different traditions, including the polychoral works of St Mark’s Basilica in Renaissance Venice, the concerto grosso made popular by Vivaldi also in Venice, and the piano concerto from the Classical period onwards. All of these traditions play on the excitement created by the opposition and contrast between distinct groups of instruments or voices. While our concert takes examples from each of the 3 traditions, the programme also offers a new angle to look at 2-piano music through the world premiere of Angus Lee’s Paramorphologia.

Programme includes: 

Bach - Cantata No.25 (opening chorus), 2 Double Keyboard Concertos (BWV 1061, 1062); Mozart/Busoni - Duettino Concertante (K. 459); Medtner - Two Pieces, Op. 58; 

Chopin - Rondo, Op.73; Angus Lee - Paramorphologia (world premiere)

演出者簡介

傅厚鈦幼時受何綺華女士啟蒙學習鋼琴，並於英國皇家音樂學院學藝，師承俄裔鋼琴家薩爾基索娃，亦為鋼琴怪傑埃斯特哈齊的入室弟子。傅氏曾於拉普蘭特、羅乃新、舒恩、戈蘭斯基、魯維耶、麥恩和佩斯等知名鋼琴家的大師班上研習。其他影響深遠的老師包括豪瓦特、皮納爾、韋里奇以及李廷強先生。

傅氏活躍於英國及歐洲的音樂廳舞台，多次獲邀舉辦獨奏會，亦曾在香港、意大利、法國、美國以及俄羅斯等音樂節擔任演奏嘉賓，參與獨奏和室內樂重奏演出。

熊韋皓畢業於英國皇家音樂學院鋼琴系，並曾學習彈奏古鍵琴及管風琴。他特別熱衷巴哈的音樂，過去的演出曲目包括巴哈的整套二聲部及三聲部創意曲、《平均律》全集及「巴哈點唱機」。除了以傳統的方式表演，熊氏亦積極探索以其他形式把音樂帶給聽眾，例如配合動畫、繪畫、攝影等視覺藝術去一同演繹樂曲。

The Performers

Kent Fu began his early piano lessons with Eva Ho in Hong Kong and studied with Tatiana Sarkissova at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Apart from his formal studies at the Academy, Kent worked closely with the maverick pedagogue Andrzej Esterházy. He has also performed in masterclasses and in private for André Laplante, Nancy Loo, Ann Schein, Edna Golandsky, Jacques Rouvier, Hamish Milne, and Enrico Pace, amongst others. Other formative influences include lessons with Roy Howat, Daniel-Ben Pienaar, Robert Weirich, and Norman Lee.

Kent’s versatile performances both as a soloist and chamber musician have taken him to various music festivals and distinguished concert venues in the UK and continental Europe.

Stephen Hung graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Apart from his studies in piano, he also received training on the harpsichord and organ. He is especially drawn to the music of J. S. Bach and previous performances include the complete 2-part and 3-part inventions, the complete WTC, a number of jukebox concerts, and collaborative projects with different visual artists including Oychir and Wong Nga Ting.
