Mr. Lundahl Needs to Concentrate on Becoming a Good English Writer and Forget about Being a Comedian

Kevin R. Henke

September 15, 2022

In his May 16, 2022 (1:47 PM US Eastern Time) email, Mr. Lundahl reveals his true motivation for his writing:

“My kind of public are not the kind of people who require Chicago format of citation, I try to entertain them at your expense./HGL”

However, in his May 17, 2022 (12:41 PM US Eastern Time) email, Mr. Lundahl later qualifies his statement to say that he is not on the Internet to provide “mindless entertainment” and that he believes in the power of “edutainment.” While it’s important for a writer to show some levity and not to be “dry” and boring, Mr. Lundahl’s type of writing is frustrating, not entertaining at all, and, because of his lack of adequate referencing, rarely educational. It is quite clear from his essays and emails that Mr. Lundahl prefers to be a performer that insults his opponents rather than someone that accurately informs the public on a given topic with good references. As for his “kind of people”, why isn’t Mr. Lundahl interested in reaching all kinds of people? Why does he needlessly insult millions of Americans that use the Merriam-Webster dictionary by referring to them as “Barbarians without letters” (email on May 17, 2022 12:41 PM US Eastern Time)? Mr. Lundahl should also not assume that all of our readers know who Bishop Challoner is Lundahl (2022a) (also see Henke 2022g; Henke 2022h; Henke 2022m). Mr. Lundahl needs to think about our readers and not confuse and frustrate them with his improper English, pathetic insults, vain attempts to show off and his lack of references.
