If Lundahl (2022j) is Going to Criticize My Writing Abilities, How Many University Students has He Had and Where’s His Publication Record?

In Lundahl (2022j), Mr. Lundahl attempts to grade my evaluation of Lewis (1960) in Henke (2022b). He states:

“If I were to grade him on C. S. Lewis, Miracles, I'd have to give him a P - a big phat phail.”

Considering Mr. Lundahl’s stubborn unwillingness to spell properly (e.g., “phail” versus fail), appropriately reference his sources and write clearly, there’s no reason to accept his opinion on anyone’s writing abilities. So, if Mr. Lundahl wants to play teacher, let’s see what his credentials and publication record are. How many books has Mr. Lundahl authored and coauthored? I’ve written several books as first author or editor (e.g., Henke 2009) and my coauthors and peer-reviewers have testified to my ability to spell correctly, reference well, write clearly and, most of all, effectively summarize the literature on various topics. My titles also include a successful Master’s Thesis (Henke 1984) and a Ph.D. Dissertation (Henke 1997). I’ve also been a coauthor on several books, which have been peer-reviewed (e.g., Perkins et al. 2019; Perkins and Henke 2004). How many peer-reviewed books has Mr. Lundahl coauthored? I also have a long list of peer-reviewed articles, which include Henke (1998), Henke et al. (2001) and Hower et al. (2022) just to name three examples. How many peer-reviewed articles does Mr. Lundahl have? I’m not interested in Mr. Lundahl’s blogs or reports that he may have written for classes. I want to see articles and books that he has written that passed peer-review by anonymous experts and not his friends or acquaintances. I’ve also been a peer-reviewer for a number of chemistry and geology journals. The quality of the papers that I’ve reviewed has greatly varied. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered a number of authors that had horrible skills in technical English and that were unwilling to take the necessary constructive criticism. Mr. Lundahl is just like them. Over the years, I’ve taught many University graduate and undergraduate classes. I’ve had 3,000+ students and I received high marks for my ability to teach and write. I was very impressed with my students’ writing abilities, even individuals where English was not their first language. The university where I taught would only accept students with good writing skills, and I saw that. Compared to them, Mr. Lundahl’s writing ability ranks at the very bottom. So, how many University students has Mr. Lundahl had? (I’m not counting any students that he may have had as a teaching assistant in laboratories, speeches or seminars.)

I don’t like to brag, but Mr. Lundahl, if you’re going to judge my writing ability, demonstrate to others and me that you have any credentials whatsoever to judge anyone’s writing abilities in English. Now, if Mr. Lundahl happens to actually have English-language articles or books that passed the peer-review of anonymous experts, I would only ask that he show the same courtesy to our readers by spelling correctly, properly referencing his sources and writing clearly in English.
