Nikon has released a very useful new feature in the latest D5 firmware. It allows you to switch from one preset exposure to another by programming a function button.
For example: From a high-speed exposure preset for a sharp image to a very slow speed exposure to get a slow motion during the same action
How to:
Set first the secondary exposure settings you need. Exposure mode, speed, aperture, iso … (A slowmo for example)
Go to F menu ► F1 Custom Control ► Fn1 ► Recall Shooting Functions ► Update saved settings. The current camera settings are now saved
Complete the main exposure settings.
When you trigger, and press when you press Fn1 in the same time, the first settings will be used
- It works perfectly if you use an Iphone as a Mifi
- If you use a Huawei you have to set the camera with a fixed ip, you can also use the following set-up:
Copy and paste this text in notepad .
Change line 100, 105, 204, 205
Save it to an XQD as " NETSET01.TXT ".
Import to your camera
You may have to re-type the key on the camera
