Huawei E5770 or E5885, the swiss army knife of the connection

This is what allows, specifically, this MIFI

1/ 4G Router function : Connect a camera directly to the MIFI with an ethernet cable (don't need any WT4/WT5/WT6 or WFT)

2/ Access-Point function: Convert an Internet ETHERNET connection into a wifi network

3/ Wifi-Extender function: Enable a camera to connect to a wifi network with web authentification (with Login & password credential)

4/ PowerBank : The Strap is a usb wire !!!

START

- Insert a Local SIM into the MIFI

- Download the app Huawei Hilink to your smartphone

- Connect your smartphone to the brodcasted WIFI

- Launch the app Huawei Hilink . Tick the update option

- Change the Admin password

- Go to Tool / Parameter / Network / Wifi-Mode

Select 2.4Ghz + 5Ghz

You should be able to connect your camera to one of these 5ghz or the 2.4ghz network. Select the best one according to the uploading speed you can notice.

WIFI EXTENDER

1/ In the app Huawei Hilink, Go to menu Wifi Extender : Enable it

The smartphone will be disconnected from the Mifi

2/ Reconnect your smartphone to the MIFI

3/ Go back to the menu Wifi Extender

4/ Select the wifi network you widh to connect to from the list that rolls out

The screen of the MIFI should display the wifi you want to connect to

5/ The Login + Password page should pop-up

6/ Enter the credentials. They will be saved into the Mifi

If ever the authentification web page does not pop up, you may have to forget/delete the network into your smartphone Wifi auto-connect list.

4G ROUTER

1/ Connect the mifi with a small ethernet cable to your camera D4/D4s/D5 Eos 1Dx/1Dx2

2/ Select any Ethernet profile on your camera and it will work straight away

ETHERNET INTERNET SHARING (AP mode)

1/ Just plug any ethernet cable providing internet, the Mifi will automatically broadcat a Wifi.

You will be able to connect, in wifi, your Smartphone + Cameras + Computers in the same time
