05. Caption in Camera (D4/D4s)

STORE CAPTIONS IN THE CAMERA:

This an already made exemple you can download: NikonCaptionExemple (just unzip it and copy it on a CF card)

Prepare a caption in AFP-Reporter / Caption

On your Laptop

1. The caption file has to be named this way: NCIPTC0x.NMS (x = figure from 1 to 9)

2. Copy this file onto an XQD.

3. On this XQD create 2 folders called NIKON and IPTC

4. Move NCIPTC0x.NMS into IPTC, then move IPTC into NIKON (It means your file is now located in .\NIKON\IPTC\NCIPTC01.NMS )

5. Insert this XQD into the camera

On your camera

1. Go to Setup menu/IPTC/Copy to camera/ choose destination. This saves the caption into the camera

2. In Setup menu/IPTC/ select Auto Embed during shooting OFF/ choose the caption. This will insert the caption in the Pictures.

3. You can store up to 10 different captions in the camera.
