Health Economics

Committee met and submitted report on future plans. This has been posted on BLOG for further comments and suggestions prior to implementation.

This is a very valuable program, not being offered elsewhere. Nonetheless, there are several

problems with our current offerings. Dr. Durre-Nayab requested to form a suitable committee of

experts to chalk out a five year vision for this program. Several alternatives need to be evaluated:

1. Merge with Economics Program, offering Health Economics as a specialization.

2. Develop and entirely separate and distinct program; logistic issues of publicity, demand,

supply need to be considered to create a viable program.

3. Strengthen existing collaborative ties with GIZ and offer split programs.
