Other Proposed changes
Microeconomic Theory I and Macroeconomic Theory I be renamed as Microeconomics and Macroeconomics which should consist of concepts and graphical analysis. Moreover these courses may be made compulsory in all the programmes at PIDE.
Microeconomic Theory II and Macroeconomic Theory II be renamed as Microeconomic Analysis and Macroeconomic Analysis consisting of mathematical treatments of the concepts taught in the first courses.
Research Methodology be replaced by Applied Economics
Management of Pakistan’s Economy be renamed as Issues in Pakistan’s Economy
Course in English should be dropped and may be offered as separate course in Summer
