ToR for Committee on Framing and Revising the Service Rules of Employees at PIDE

The committee shall perform the following functions: 1. To review the existing organizational Structure and Service Rules of the employees and suggest amendments where the same are essentially required. 2. To design a specific service structure for all Divisions / Department of PIDE along-whit the job description of every post depicted in the strength of the Division/Department in broad consultation with the relevant Division/Department. 3. To draft the Service Rules of Higher Education Commission (HEC) like Tenure Track System (TTS ) for Academic Department and Standard Government Rules in vogue at planning, Development and Reforms or Establishment Division for Research and Administrative positions. The Committee shall provide the following deliverables to the PIDE Management for its principal approval from the Syndicate and Senate PIDE: 1. A report containing service structure of every Division/Department/Section of PIDE along-with job Description of each post depicted on the strength of the Division/Department/Section. 2. A set of Service Rules for every post keeping in view that service Rules of HEC like TTS be adopted for Academic Departments and Standard Government Rules in vogue at Planning, Development & Reforms or Establishment Division be adopted for Research and Administrative positions. 3. Some Separate Departments – like Survey, ICT – may be considered separately. The Committee shall submit its report within three months of the issuance of this Notification: however, keeping in view the sensitivity of the assignment further time may be given on the request by the Chairperson of the Committee.
