Contamination Protocols

• I understand the meaning of Parvo ICU being an Isolation. Anything that comes into the ICU is officially and highly contaminated, and nothing leaves with the exception of people, puppies, decontaminated paperwork, decontaminated crates, and properly contained trash/recycling.

• I understand the Hand Washing Procedure listed in the Wiki.

• I understand the Scrubbing In and Out Procedures listed in the Wiki.

• I understand that improper decontamination procedures spreads this incredible hardy virus into other areas and puts the lives of other puppies at risk. This spread is as simple as setting a contaminated foot (while wearing parvo shoes and/or scrubs) into any “clean area” for any purpose. Parvovirus can survive on inorganic and inanimate objects for up to a year!
