Butch Lee No. 65 and No. 9

Butch Lee drove Stock Car for many years.  Thanks to Bonnie and Butch for sending me some many of these photos.  He joined the MVSC when he was 18 (corrected it should be 18 years old in 1962) and was the youngest driver in the MVSC at that time. His parents had to sign a waiver for the MVSC. Click on the images to make them larger.  Bonnie wrote: " Here are some pictures of cars he had while he was racing and some that he drove for other people.   I also sent pictures of programs we had for West Liberty and Columbus Junction (Editor's note -posted on seperate pages of this website).   We still involved in racing Butch uses his wrecker and tows for West Liberty and has for many years.  Our son  Wade Lee still races a modifed stock car."

Here is Butch's first car in 1962.

 Below is his 1963 car.

No 63 we think is Richard Grisham...Butch on right in 65

Below is his Butch 1971 at West Liberty.

Above a Camaro Stock Car probably 1972 or 73 we guess.

Below Butch and his Chevy Coupe in 1966.  I would love to have

that stock car today!

Above Butch next to his 57 Pontiac at Columbus Junction. Probably 1967 or later.

Thanks to Bonnie Lee for identifying Butch's car below.  This photo from Randy Foor.

Bonnie and Butch Lee sent me this great photo above.
