Bill Hopp No. 9 and No. 46 and No. 21

Bill Hopp was from Muscatine and grew to be a very competitive driver.   Sadly Bill passed away a couple of years

ago.

The 1956 Chevy  above was owned by John Hayes and driven by Bill Hopp. This photo was taken

at Columbus Junction.

This photo below came from a Collection of Pam Crooks Elwells uncle

The 1957 Ford #46  above was the last car he built and raced

(primarily at West Liberty & Columbus Jct) on his own. You can see

Mark Mosier's number 17 behind Bill.  I think this photo was taken

at Columbus Junction also.

Here above is a close up of Bill in his 1957 Ford.  Bill was one of the few

Ford drivers.

Dirt Track Racing 60s-70s and 80s

The Number 3 1934 Ford below  was Bill's car he races at Tunis Speedway and other places

also.

The #111 was his 1st car and he and Dwayne Snyder are pictured with it.
