Bob Smith No. 0 & 42 & 16

Bob raced for several years with the MVSC.  One article in the Muscatine Journal said

Bob was from Burlington, Iowa

Ron Haines shared on facebook about this photo. " I think the trophy boy is Rob Penny Baker they lived In Lone Tree at the time. His father and mine worked for the telephone company.  I know he lives in Fayette Iowa or did see his folks about once a year they now live outside Knoxville Iowa. I due remember the night Bobby Smith won that trophy dash it was a West Liberty and Rob was the trophy boy."

The Henry County Fairgrounds.  The MVSC did race there

a few times per year.  Many know it today as the Midwest

Old Thresher's grounds.  There was a football field in the infield

and the chain link fence surrounded the football field.

The grandstand is the same one the Old Threshers use today.
